My aim is to create pictures with a timeless quality, pictures that could have been taken yesterday or one hundred years ago. I try not to fall under the influence of fashion and photographic trends, but rather to create pictures that somehow express a part of myself.

 The beauty of black and white photography is its ability to capture the true character of its subjects. In order to do this, there must be a relaxed relationship between the photographer and subject. The moment frozen in time by the camera can never be recaptured and I am privileged to share these endless moments with the wonderful people and places who have been my subjects.

There is a gypsy streak in me that keeps me travelling and seeking and I hope to continue my journey into eternity with wonder and awe at the beauty surrounding us all
